Handle a Booking Request
Accept or reject an incoming enquiry - including the choice between reviewing documents first or sending them straight away.
WAWritten by Wendor Admin
Bookings > Requests
Visit the Requests tab to see every booking request couples have sent you. Each row is one enquiry waiting on your response - accept it to start the booking, or reject it to decline. You can also click into a request to read the full enquiry first.
Before you start
Wendor blocks acceptance until your setup is complete. If any of these are missing you'll see a guard modal instead of the accept dialog:
- A default contract template - see Create and Manage Contract Templates.
- An email template assigned as Default for Contract - see Set Default Email Templates.
- An email template assigned to the invoice slots - see Set Default Email Templates.
- Default payment terms in Billing Settings.
- A linked Fire account in Billing Settings.
Full walkthrough: Get Set Up to Accept Bookings.
Review a request
- Open the Requests tab in Bookings.
- Click the Booking ID (or pick View from the row's
⋯menu) to open the booking detail page.

- Read through:
- Wedding Information - couple email, phone, partner names, getting-ready locations, ceremony and reception venues, country/county, guest count.
- Package Information - the package the couple picked and its price.
- Price Information - your default deposit percentage and the calculated amounts.
- Add-ons - anything the couple added on.
- Client story - anything the couple wrote about themselves and the day.
Accept a request
- From the Requests tab, click Accept on the row, or open the booking and click Accept at the top.

- The Accept Booking modal opens with two choices:

- Review Documents - walk through the contract and deposit invoice in a multi-step modal before sending. Edit any field before pressing send. Best when you want to double-check.
- Accept & Send Documents - Wendor sends the contract and the deposit invoice immediately using your defaults. Fastest path.
- Pick the option you want and confirm.
What happens on accept
- The booking gets the Booking Confirmed status.
- A chat conversation with the couple is created in Messages.
- The booking moves out of Requests and into the Active tab.
- Your default contract is created on the booking; if you chose Accept & Send, it's sent for signature too.
- Your default deposit invoice is created on the booking; if you chose Accept & Send, it's sent and a payment link is generated.
- The wedding date becomes unavailable in your Calendar for further requests.
Reject a request
- From the Requests tab, click Reject on the row, or open the booking and click Reject.

- Confirm in the dialog - "Decline Booking - Are you sure you want to reject this booking?"

- Click Reject to confirm.
What happens on reject
- The booking gets the Booking Rejected status.
- The booking moves to the Declined / Archived tab.
- The couple is notified.
- The date stays free for future requests.
