Send a Booking Request

Tapping BOOK NOW is the moment your interest becomes a real booking request. Here's what Wendor does on your behalf and what to expect afterwards.

What Wendor sends

When you tap BOOK NOW, Wendor packages up:

• The vendor and package you chose.
• The add-ons you ticked, with quantities.
• Your comment, if you left one.
• Your wedding date, guest count, and venues from your profile.

All of this is sent to the vendor as a new booking request.

The Sending Request state

While the request is in flight, the button label changes to SENDING REQUEST with a spinner. Don't tap away or close the app until it finishes - it usually takes only a few seconds.

Where the request lands

The vendor receives your request in their own Wendor app. They can read everything you sent, see your wedding details, and either confirm or decline.

You'll find the new booking immediately in your My Bookings tab with a Requested status badge.

If the package suddenly isn't available

Occasionally a package gets paused or fully booked between when you opened it and when you tapped BOOK NOW. If that happens, Wendor shows a sheet with a message such as "Someone beat you to it — this package is already booked on your wedding date" and two ways out:

• EXPLORE PACKAGES - see what else this vendor offers.
• EXPLORE VENDORS - go back and find a different vendor.

Your wedding details aren't lost - you can pick up where you left off.

What to expect after

Once the request is sent:

• The booking sits as Requested in your list with a Booking in Progress header when you open it.
• The vendor reviews and gets back to you. You'll be notified.
• While it's in progress, you can still edit your request from the booking screen.
• Once they confirm, the status flips to Confirmed and a fuller set of actions appears - questionnaire, contract, and invoices. See about bookings.
