About Bookings
The booking lifecycle from the couple's side - Pending, Confirmed, Completed, Archived - and what each one means.
A booking in Wendor moves through a handful of clear stages. Knowing where you are tells you what's expected of you next and what your vendor is doing on their side.
The booking lifecycle
Every booking lives in your My Bookings tab with a colour-coded status badge so you can spot where things stand at a glance.

Requested (vendor reviewing)
You've sent the booking request and the vendor hasn't responded yet.
- The list badge reads Requested (slate green).
- Open the booking and the header reads Booking in Progress.
- You can still edit the request while it's in this state. See edit a pending booking.
- The vendor sees your package, add-ons, comment, and wedding details and decides whether to confirm.
There's nothing more you need to do at this stage other than wait - you'll be notified once the vendor responds.
Confirmed
The vendor has accepted your booking. The badge turns Confirmed (green) and the header changes to Booking Confirmed with the date it was confirmed.
This is when the real planning starts. Depending on what the vendor has shared, you may now see:
- Questionnaire Available - fill in the vendor's questions about your wedding.
- Contract Available - read and sign the contract (amber info icon when action is needed).
- Invoices Available - pay your deposit and, later, the balance (amber info icon when payment is due).
- Contact Vendor - open a chat to ask anything.

You'll also see Booking Id, Requested on, Deposit Due on, and Balance Due on when the vendor has set payment dates.
Completed
After your wedding date passes and the vendor marks the booking complete, the badge reads Completed and the header becomes Booking Completed.
- A 1–5 star rating row appears on the booking card and inside the booking.
- You can tap a star to leave a review. See rate a vendor and leave a review.
- All your documents (signed contract, paid invoices, questionnaire) stay accessible.
Archived or rejected
If the vendor isn't able to take the booking, or if it's been archived, the badge reads Rejected or Archived and the header shows Booking Rejected or Booking Archived.
- No rating UI appears for these bookings.
- The booking stays in your list for reference.
- You're encouraged to reach back out to the vendor or explore other options.
