Start a Chat with a Vendor

Start a new conversation

Every chat with a vendor begins from their profile. There's no "new message" button on the Chats tab - you reach out by visiting the vendor first.

1. Open the vendor's profile.
2. Tap Contact vendor at the bottom.
3. Wendor opens a chat thread with that vendor and takes you straight to it.
4. Type your message in the Type a message field (and add photos or files with the attachment icon if you'd like - see Send photos and files) and tap the send button.

If you've messaged this vendor before

Tapping Contact vendor doesn't create a duplicate chat. If a conversation with this vendor already exists, Wendor simply re-opens that thread so your full history stays in one place.

What happens next

Your message is delivered to the vendor straight away. They'll see it in their own Wendor app and can reply at any time. You'll get a notification when their reply lands, and a red dot on the Chats tab will let you know there's something new to read.
