Using Merge Fields
Insert placeholders like the couple's name, wedding date, or payment links into contracts and emails - and the full list of fields you can use.
Merge fields are placeholders you drop into a Contract or Email template. When Wendor sends the template, each placeholder is swapped for the real value for that booking - the couple's name, the wedding date, the deposit amount, and so on.

How to insert one
- Open the template's Details field (for a contract) or Email Body (for an email).
- Type the
@character. - A popup appears with the full list of merge fields. Keep typing to filter, e.g.
@wedding. - Pick the field you want - it inserts as a coloured pill in your text.
You can also click anywhere in the editor to move the cursor and insert another field.
What couples see
When Wendor sends the message, each pill is replaced with the live value pulled from the booking. Fields with no value yet (e.g. Deposit Due Date before a deposit is scheduled) render as blank.
