Build a Workflow Template
Plan the steps for every booking on a kanban-style board - up to six sections, drag-and-drop, rename, and duplicate.
Templates > Workflows
The Workflows tab is where you build the playbook for every booking - the full set of steps from first deposit to final delivery, organised on a board with columns of sections containing tasks and automations. Apply a workflow to a booking and Wendor copies the whole plan onto that booking.
This article covers the structure: sections, the board, and how to manage the template itself. For adding tasks and automations, see Add Tasks and Automations to a Workflow.
Create a workflow template
- Open Templates and click the Workflows tab.

- Click Create Workflow in the top-right.

- On the Create a new workflow template card, click Start from Scratch (or Choose from Template to start from one of your existing workflows).

- In the Create Workflow Template modal, enter a Template Name and click Create.

- The editor opens with your named workflow and one empty section on the board.

Rename a workflow
- From the workflow's view page, click Rename Template.

- Enter the new name in the modal and click Save.

Sections
Sections are the columns of the board. Use them to group related steps - e.g. "Before booking", "After deposit", "Week of the wedding", "After delivery".

Add a section
- On the workflow view page, click + Add Section in the top-right.

- The new section appears as a fresh column titled "New Section". Click the title (with the pencil icon) to edit it inline - type the new name and press Enter, or click away, to save.

Reorder tasks across sections
Drag any task or automation by its handle. You can drop it within the same section to reorder, or onto a different section's column to move it there.
Duplicate a workflow
Useful when two workflows differ only slightly (e.g. "Full-day shoot" vs "Half-day shoot").
- From the Workflows list, open the row's Actions menu (
⋯) and choose Duplicate.

- A dialog suggests a name like "My Workflow (Copy)". Edit the name if you'd like, then click Confirm.
The new copy lands in your list, complete with every section, task, and automation from the original - edit it independently.
Delete a workflow
Permanent.
- Open the row's Actions menu and choose Delete.
- Confirm in the dialog ("Are you sure you want to delete this workflow template?").
