Documents and information needed for a Fire Account

Documents You'll Need to Apply for a FIRE Account

Proof of Business Activity

One of each of the following where available;

• A Business Contract - a contract you have issued to a customer
• Customer Invoice - an invoice you have issued to a customer
• Supplier Invoice - must include the supplier's VAT Number

If you do not have all three: 

You may instead submit 3 individual customer invoices. In this case, you must also upload bank statements clearly showing receipt of the invoice amounts.

Proof of Identity

Three (3) different documents in total, including;

• At least one Photo ID (accepted Photo ID documents - Passport, Drivers Licence, EEA National ID Card).
• At least one Proof of Address (Accepted Proof of Address - Personal Utility Bill, Insurance, Bank Statement, Government Issued Document).

NOTE: ID documents need to be in date (not expired) and any proof of address must be dated in the last 6 months. Mobile phone bills are not accepted as proof of address.

Information You'll Need to Apply for a FIRE Account (not exhaustive)

Sole Traders:

• VAT Number (optional)
• A detailed description of your business (minimum 100 characters)
• A description of your target customers and how you will attract them (minimum 100 characters)
  Suggestion: Couples who are planning their upcoming wedding, and are in search of (your business type e.g. photographers). New customers will be attracted by my own promotional and advertising effort, and through promotion on the Wendor App.
• How will your business use the Fire account?
  Suggestion: To collect deposit, ad-hoc, and final payments for services delivered to customers who are managed through the Wendor Customer Relationship Management system.
• Expected incoming monthly value and number of transactions (select from bands provided)
• Expected outgoing monthly value and number of transactions (select from bands provided)
  This is primarily the number of times you will transfer from your Fire account to your Bank Account each month.

Limited Company:

• Information as outlined above for "Sole Traders" plus
• Company Registration Number
• Company constitution/certificate of memorandum (note: all details must match what is on the RBO/Companies house.
• Documentation as detailed above in "Documents You'll Need to Apply for a FIRE Account" for all business's directors AND beneficial owners who own or control over 25% of shares, profits, voting rights, or hold management control.
