Send a Message or Attachment

Type a reply, send with Enter, or attach a single file (JPG, PNG, PDF, or MP4 - up to 20 MB) via the paperclip or drag-and-drop.

Messages

Open Messages from the left-hand navigation and pick a conversation. Use the input at the bottom of the chat window to send a text reply, attach a single file (JPG, PNG, PDF, or MP4), or both. The input itself reads "Type your message…" and the area below confirms: "Drag and drop files here. Allowed files: JPG, PNG, PDF, MP4 · Max size 20MB".

Sending a text message

  1. Type your reply.
  2. Press Enter or click the send button.

Shift + Enter inserts a new line instead of sending. Your input clears after sending and keeps focus so you can keep typing.

Attaching a file

Each message can include one attachment.

  • Allowed types: JPG, PNG, PDF, MP4
  • Max size: 20 MB

You can attach a file in two ways:

  • Use the paperclip to open a file picker.
  • Drag a file onto the message area - a blue "Drop file here" overlay appears while you're hovering.

Once added, the file uploads immediately with a progress bar. You can:

  • Remove it (the × on the preview) before sending.
  • Add a message alongside it.
  • Send it on its own - no text needed.
