About Notifications

What gets logged into the Notifications tab - booking updates, new messages, payment alerts - and the red badge on the bottom nav.

The Notifications tab (bell icon in the bottom bar) is your in-app activity feed. It is separate from your wedding Profile tab and from App Settings - use it to catch up on bookings, messages, and payments in one list.

What you'll see here

Examples of notifications you might receive:

  • Booking accepted - contract and deposit invoice are on the way.
  • Deposit invoice ready - pay to secure your date.
  • Contract ready - review and sign to keep things moving.
  • Booking declined - vendor can't accommodate; explore other vendors.
  • Booking updated - vendor changed details on a pending booking.

What each row shows

  • Timestamp at the top of each item (for example a short date or relative time like "2h ago").
  • The message body explaining what happened.
  • A small red dot if the item is new since you last opened the tab.

Clear and refresh

Tap the clear icon (sweep/trash style) in the header to remove every notification from the list at once. Pull down to refresh and load newer items.

The unread badge

If you have unread notifications, a small red dot appears on the Notifications icon in the bottom bar - so you'll spot new activity even from another tab.

When the list is empty

If there's nothing new, you'll see:
